The New Jersey Nets play in the Eastern Conference’s Atlantic Division of the NBA. They are are owned by Russian billionaire entrepreneur Mikhail Prokhorov, real estate developer Bruce Ratner and rapper Jay-Z. The team plays in the Prudential Center in Newark, but are planning to relocate to the borough of Brooklyn in New York City once a new arena there is completed in 2012.
