Lebron should be playing for the Knicks

Isiah Thomas believes that LeBron James should be playing for the Knicks this season.

James left Cleveland and signed with Miami as a free agent in early July to join up with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.

“I think — and I honestly believe this — it would’ve been interesting to see if he could have [won a title with the Knicks],” Thomas said. “The curiosity factor, the whole world would’ve been drawn to watch and see if he could do it. The whole LeBron Knick thing would’ve piqued everyone’s curiosity.

“We wanted him to come to New York, but I think he’ll do well in Miami. They got a great team. I think everybody will be watching to see if they can put it together and win.”

A move that would have brought Thomas back to New York’s front office fell apart earlier this offseason when the NBA nixed the deal because of his head coaching job at Florida International.
