Knicks and Hawks forwards suspended after fight

Shawne Williams and Marvin Williams have both been suspended after last nights fight which erupted in the final quarter of the the Knicks loss against the hawks game. Knicks forward Shawne Williams, will be suspended for one game and will miss Sunday’s game against the Pistons.

Hawks forward Marvin Williams will miss two games after reportedly throwing the first punch. The erupted with 48 seconds left of the game. Shawne also appeared to throw a few punches, however the forward denied any after the game.

The NBA’s has a no-tolerance fighting policy, players must sit out at least one game out if a punch is thrown.
