Bulls worthy winners against the pistons

Derrick Rose matched his career best of 39 points as the Chicago Bulls came from behind to beat the Detroit Pistons 101-91.

The Bulls were losing by 21 points early in the third quarter and were 86-73 behind in the fourth before a 19-2 run saw them take the lead.

Joakim Noah scored 15 points and 17 rebounds, with Taj Gibson scoring 11 points

There were 15 points and 17 rebounds for Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson scored 11 and James Johnson scoring eight points and nine rebounds.

The Hornets continued their unbeaten run in Saturday nights game against the Spurs. Chris Paul scored 25 points and David West hit 18 for the Hornets. Tony Parker who has just signed an extension with the Spurs scored 13 points and top scorer Manu Ginobili with 23.

Milwaukee Bucks 98, Charlotte Bobcats 88

Brandon Jennings recorded his first career triple-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Andrew Bogut added 14 points, eight rebounds and four blocks in his first game since since dislocating his right elbow, spraining his wrist and breaking his hand, which happened in April.

Atlanta Hawks 99, Washington Wizards 95

The Atlanta Hawks remain unbeaten, Joe Johnson scored 25 points, 14 of them in the final quater. Rookie John Wall led the Wizards with 28 points.

Denver Nuggets 107, Houston Rockets 94

The Nuggets beat the Rockets. Al Harrington scored 28 points and Carmelo Anthony had 24. Chauncey Billups scored 13 points. Luis Scola scored 28 and Kevin Martin added 21 for the Rockets, with Yao Ming adding 14 points.

Portland Trail Blazers 100, New York Knicks 95

In the first season game at the garden the Knicks fell to the Portland Trail Blazers. Wilson Chandler scored 23 points with Stoudemire scoring 18. Brandon Roy scored 29 points and LaMarcus Aldridge managed 20 for the Trail Blazers.

Memphis Grizzlies 109, Minnesota Timberwolves 89

OJ Mayo scored 29 points for the Grizzlies. Rudy Gay added 25 points and Darrell Arthur scored 18 for Memphis.

Sacramento Kings 107, Cleveland Cavaliers 104

Tyreke Evans scored 21 points for Sacramento and rookie DeMarcus Cousins finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Daniel Gibson scored 20 points for Cleveland.

Indiana 99, Philadelphia 86

Danny Granger scored 22 points as the Pacers won 99-86 winners against the 76ers.
